About Me

A Little Bit About Me…

I have been happily married to my wonderful husband, Kevin, since 1998 and am the mother of two beautiful children: Caleb, my oldest, who shares my love of singing and can always be counted on to imitate me! And Keppley, my “baby”, who thinks that she is the boss of me and shares my flair for the dramatic!

 

I have a BA in Speech Communication from the University of South Carolina and have been speaking, performing and leading worship all over South Carolina since 2004. I am the former Minister of Singles at Holland Avenue Baptist Church and now worship at Cedar Creek Baptist Church where Kevin serves as the Minister of Music. I continue to be amazed at how God blesses, at the opportunities He continues to bring my way and that He would use someone as ordinary as me in His great work. I pray that all I do glorifies Him and that every action I take has positive eternal consequences!  I am following God no matter what and can’t wait to see what He has in store for me around the next corner!

 

My Testimony

When I was 12 years old, my aunt shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with me. Although I had heard of Jesus before, the Holy Spirit convicted me that a sacrifice and gift of such significance could not be rejected. I began my walk with Christ way back then and have been on adventure with Him ever since! I fully believe that He is alive and active in my life and the lives of all believers. My goal is to commune with Him and bring others into relationship with Him every day. As a wife and mother, my days are full and the Lord continues to teach me more about Himself, His promises and His provision all the time. My heart’s desire is to share with others the hope that He has given me so they can live lives of great faith and make the most of every opportunity God places before them.
